Gambling bluff posturing by a baby woman

I’m pretty sure this satirical Tweet&Facebook post completely flopped because no one realized its mocking tone… The copy reads:

You guys should check out this song called “Poker Face”. its by an artist called “Lady Gaga” and its about gambling and romance through the filter of mumbling and stuttering. I think y’all will enjoy it. <3

Obvious, right? Use of “ya’ll” and a text heart outta be the “in case you didn’t realize” tippers, but since this song is currently saturating ever corner of public media, shouldn’t it be immediately clear that someone recommending it as some kind of obscure tune they’re personally sharing is joking?

The answer is yes to all those of course. I’m only posing it as a faux-question as a 2nd layer of social satire along the lines of a lady venting about being misunderstood at the office earlier in the workday or something.

The real point here is that my humor continues to be lost in the new cultural wave where everyone is as jaded and dense as my joke-me and so an ever-increasing number of those facetious moments are falling on deaf eyes and ears.

The future is gonna be super lame in this regard.
